Example from Sudan.
A group of doctors working in Public Health in the UK, the Sudanese Public Health Network-Uk (SPHNUK), have come together as a network to see if they can give something back to Sudan to help improve health there. They have agreed to help the development of the Peoples-uni in Sudan, and have made visits and enlisted the collaboration of local individuals in universities and health ministry.

all the courses offered by the Consortium.
The Commonwealth of Learning http://www.wikieducator.org/Main_Page have already helped by establishing a web site for us to develop content.
The Charity for African Welfare and Development, CAWD, have been involved from the start and offer a site for detailed discussion and hosting materials and references Cawdnet Campus.
We have signed an agreement for collaboration with TENCompetence http://www.tencompetence.org/
Doctors Worldwide http://www.doctorsworldwide.org have many aims in common, are helping to perform situation analyses, and have developed and hosted this website.
We have agreed to partner with Health Sciences Online (http://hso.info). They are developing a large on-line education resource in health and this will provide us with many examples and materials.
